This site has no advertising, third-party analytics, or message-submission service. The contact composer prepares a message for your email app. Nothing you type into it is saved or sent by this website. Your email provider and the recipient’s provider handle any message you choose to send.

The Motion control stores your preference in your browser. Fonts, artwork, geography, and website libraries are served with this site. The hosting provider may process request information to deliver and secure the site.

For questions, email jwalther@ascendwa.com.

Giving through PayPal

The Giving page continues to PayPal to process your donation. This website does not collect or store payment details. PayPal handles information you choose to provide under its own privacy policy and terms.

Design & technology

Original Ascend design and development using Three.js (MIT) and GSAP (Standard License). Typography: DM Sans and Instrument Serif, distributed under the SIL Open Font License. Geographic source: Natural Earth, public-domain map data. Maps are illustrative and are not a statement about disputed boundaries.

The landscape and architectural imagery are original AI-generated artistic interpretations. They do not document a ministry location, completed project, or business office. The portrait of Jared and Stephannie comes from the previous Ascend website.

Accessible by design

Keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators, a skip link, native dialogs, and a reduced-motion preference are included. The globe is decorative; all country information is available through ordinary buttons and text. You can pause motion using the control at the bottom of the home page.
